What to do when the summer is around the corner and you've got a terrace? Terrace season opening party! I always find a reason to celebrate and meet up with friends and family, because they give me lots of positive energy, which is for me almost as important as breathing. This time the reason is really simple - the arrival of warm days. 

The numerous plants at my sunny terrace and the green surrounding makes me want to spend almost every weekend outside. Being able to use the nice weather without leaving your own apartment is very convenient. This year I decided to make a 'terrace season opening', because I like to gather friends around, serve tasty and refreshing beverages and grill juicy steaks. It's always nice and funny to be surrounded by the closest ones, but it's even better if we can spend the time outside in the sun. After all it's about time to refill the deficit of vitamin D after the long winter!

I decided to make tropical theme. I hang pineapple and watermelon garlands together with some fairy light chains. In addition to it, one of our friends gave us as a gift balloons with lights, which fitted perfectly to the rest of decoration. Another friend gave me a funny hat in a shape of a brain, which I was wearing all day long. We grilled, ate watermelon salad, drank pineapple-strawberry shakes. We blew bubbles and took photos with an old polaroid and an analog camera. It was wonderful.
