Advent time

It is this time of a year, when skin gets dry, air seems to be more fresh and days are shorter than ever. Even though, for some it might be depressing, December is probably one of the most marvelous months in a year. Entire cities are turning into a wonderland, full of colorful, sparkly elements. Almost everyone is putting at least a little bit of effort to decorate his or hers surrounding, no matter if it's for commercial or private reasons. All we have to do to get into a joyful mood is go for a walk and gloat over all of the festive lights, christmas trees and nutcrackers standing in almost every corner.

The time of Advent not only turns gray sidewalks into visually cheerful place, but it also awakens life on them. The Christmas Markets, which offer warm drinks and Christmassy objects attract people of all ages. Not only nobody minds the coldness in such circumstances, they also make many people more sociable.

I get the impression, that during this month many people become more motivated and enthusiastic. Everything that is surrounding us reminds us to that happy, warm moments with loved ones, delicious food, eggnog and gingerbread; to that magical evening, which happens only once in a year. And this evening is right in front of us, only weeks, days away. We're all awaiting those precious moments - myself included.
